With the conclusion of one of the industry’s most thrilling events - SBC Barcelona, we ask our team who participated to answer 3 quick questions:
Hugo: “I think it has been a great opportunity to continue displaying our solutions, strengthen relationships with clients with face-to-face meetings and continue putting Gamingtec's name among the best platform providers in the market.”
Patrick: “The event emphasised the iGaming industry's vibrant growth, which was the objective of many of the participants. Everyone was keen on showcasing the novelties their companies have put so much hard work into. We certainly did.”
Yulian: “For me, it was important to take advantage of the unique conditions that this particular event creates, to build relationships, acquire new contacts and generally see what’s new in the industry. I really felt a good vibe from everyone there. Can’t wait to see how it will be next year in Lisbon.”
Hugo: “I believe that since the event was held after COVID, Rasmus and his team have grown the event by giant steps year after year. This has already seen three complete pavilions and different areas and environments to enjoy a fantastic work experience.”
Patrick: “It was expected that the scenery would be very vibrant, and it didn't disappoint. The innovative use of gamification techniques made gameplay more engaging for interested people. That certainly caught my attention.”
Yulian: “What really caught the eye was the multitude of fun activities at display. I think everyone felt obligated to bring some kind of engagement to their stands, which was really nice to see. The effect of this, of course, being that it created a more relaxed environment, promoting better communication and relationship building.”
Hugo: “Some things such as internet connection and small details that occur during the event, but nothing that cannot be solved with an in-person meeting and the opportunity to meet and connect with new colleagues in the industry.”
Patrick: “Perhaps one minor inconvenience in the opening morning of the event were general preparations. I felt like that could have been done the day prior.”
Yulian: “There’s honestly no better place for an event like this. Barcelona is famous for its multi-culture, convenient location and tropical-like environment. I was never expecting the participants to be too strict in the first place.”
