Gamingtec's 2025 Focus: A Talk with Sales Manager

In this opportunity, we had the pleasure of speaking with Édi Varela, our Sales Manager at Gamingtec, and asking him to share valuable insights into the company’s strategy for 2025. Édi explains how Gamingtec is focusing on Latin America and Africa, and how we’ve developed tailored solutions to meet the specific needs of these diverse markets. In this conversation, Édi also highlights the company’s confidence in its ability to scale and meet growing demand, thanks to our advanced technology and experienced team of professionals.

1. Where will Gamingtec focus in 2025 and what can you offer in those markets?

Édi: Definitely Latin America and Africa. These are the markets we're focusing on because we’ve finally found solutions that are tailored to their specific needs. These solutions are often described as “tropicalized”, meaning they are focused on the content that is most relevant for each market. We understand the exact content people expect to see on their platforms. For example, in some countries, people prefer their casino content on the right side, while in others, it’s on the left. Some people enjoy crash games, while others prefer colourful slot machines. Right now, Brazil is our main focus, as we already have a few leads there, and we plan to expand significantly in 2025.

2. How does Gamingtec ensure platforms are tailored for local players in new markets?

Édi: Communication is key. We need to understand the needs of local players. So take a hands-on approach by asking questions, checking our competitors and figuring out how we can get one step closer to our audience. It’s all about understanding their habits. In some countries, there’s a stronger preference for casinos, while in others, sportsbooks are more popular. We also see emerging trends, like the growing interest in esports, and we aim to stay ahead of these trends.

3. How important is regulated market experience for LatAm?

Édi: It's crucial because we need to do things the right way. We want to operate without facing any issues, and brand awareness plays a significant role in that. When we operate as a platform alongside another brand, we aim for a seamless experience when it comes to compliance and, once again, doing the right thing.

4. How confident are you that Gamingtec’s platform can scale to meet growing demands?

Édi: I’m very confident, not just in the technology because we're not reinventing the wheel, but in terms of staffing. Many of my colleagues and I have worked for operators, so we understand exactly what needs to be offered. I call it “intellectual capital”, the experiences we’ve gained are the same experiences our partners benefit from. There are no borders when it comes to using my previous experience to assist our clients. This is one of the factors that gives our clients a high confidence in working with us. Not only is our platform stable and seamless, but we also have a team of experienced professionals behind it.
