Gamingtec acquires a PCI DSS certificate for GT Payments platform

The product has been upgraded to a standard necessary to address dealing with personal and transaction data.

As the new year unfolds, we would like to bring good news to our partners and wider audience. The Gamingtec team is proud to announce that in December 2022 our gambling payment gateway product GT Payments has acquired a Level 1 PCI DSS certificate.

After a year-long process, we have finally managed to bring the service up to this standard. In case you're wondering what that is and why it's so important, here's the explanation from the official website:

The PCI Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) is a global forum that brings together payments industry stakeholders to develop and drive adoption of data security standards and resources for safe payments worldwide.

In short, it is a certificate awarded to entities that cover the security standards to hold and deal with users’ card details and personal data. Having this certificate means that we have the latest security solutions for the payment gateway, an important issue of reliability. And the Level 1 is an indication of the highest degree of that document.

As always, Gamingtec is committed to always strive for the improvement of our products and services, delivering the better tomorrow to our partners. As you are reading, more is in the works and will be announced soon enough.
