Chief Architect

Are you ready to take your leadership skills to the next level?

As Chief Architect, you will own the end-to-end architectural vision, technical governance, and execution across the business. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping scalable, secure, and future-ready platform infrastructure. This is a highly hands-on role— we need someone who understands the craftsmanship behind modular systems, cloud-native design, and architectural resiliency. You’ll work closely with the CTO, product leads, and engineering teams to align architecture with strategic goals and drive enterprise-wide technical excellence.

Tech Stack:

Backend: Java, Typescript, NodeJS, Python;
Infrastructure: AWS (EC2, CloudFront, Route53), Linux, Docker;
Databases: MongoDB;
Monitoring & CI/CD: Github, Jenkins, TerraForm, CAdvisor, Prometheus, Grafana.

All you need is:

Proven experience as a Chief Architect, or Principal Engineer at an iGaming Slots Provider;
Deep expertise in architectural design, cloud-native platforms, microservices, API strategy, data pipelines, and integrations;
Strong track record of stewarding architectural strategy and governance in scalable environments;
Excellent communicator—able to present complex technical concepts clearly to business stakeholders;
Experienced in building and mentoring architecture teams, fostering innovation, and engineering excellence;
Passionate about shaping technical foundations that empower teams and products to thrive.

Your daily adventures will look like:

Define and own the architectural vision and roadmap, ensuring development teams have a scalable, maintainable, and high-performance technical foundation.
Lead the evolution of platform architecture to enable modular deployments, robust APIs, and tools that empower engineering teams to deliver faster.
Set and enforce coding standards, architectural guidelines, and design patterns that development teams follow to ensure consistency and quality across the codebase.
Collaborate closely with engineering managers, product owners, and technical leads to translate business needs into clear, actionable technical designs.
Oversee integration architecture, ensuring smooth interoperability between internal services, third-party APIs, and external partners.
Identify areas of technical debt and guide development teams in modernization efforts, including stabilization, refactoring, and re-platforming.
Drive adoption of best practices in DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, testing, documentation, and observability across all development squads.
Support development teams in scaling the platform for both regulated and unregulated markets, factoring in compliance, latency, and performance needs.
Mentor and coach senior engineers and technical leads, growing architectural thinking and problem-solving skills within development teams.
Conduct architectural reviews and ensure that designs are security-first, compliant, and resilient to failure.
Lead evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies that improve developer productivity, platform scalability, and time-to-market.
Partner with data engineering teams to ensure architecture supports modern data pipelines, real-time analytics, and historical reporting.
Establish frameworks for disaster recovery, failover, and business continuity, ensuring development teams are equipped to build fault-tolerant systems.
Foster a culture of ownership, technical excellence, and continuous improvement within development teams.
